THe sand yacht for everybody !
The sand yacht center Avel in Hirel en Ille-et-Vilaine has 12 tow-seater sand yachts to allow disabled people to discover the sand yacht safely.
The two-seater sand yacht is equipped by a double steering allowing 1 or 2 people to drive. After the briefing, the two persons will drive on a marked path supervised by a monitor.
The sand yacht center certified Tourism and Handicap since 2019 is wheelchair accessible and has accessible toilets, a parking spot on the beach and near the center. The beach of Hirel is a strand with sand making the wheelchair access easier.
The goal of the sand yacht center Avel has always been to make this activity accessible for everybody.
